Description
Minnesota’s Paid Family & Medical Leave (PFML) program begins January 1, 2026.
While that seems a long way away, there are layers of complexity that make implementation a little more than simply defaulting into the state plan and telling employees about it.
This workshop is built for busy leaders who need straight answers on what to do and when before year‑end. And how to run a business with the program after launch.
We will clarify the latest ins and outs of the program requirements and then move on to practical setup steps. We’ll focus on leave policy rationalization, employee and manager communications, and ongoing administration and compliance. We’ll also cover business continuity planning, because even when the labor market favors businesses, keeping the lights on will be a challenge as Minnesotans take full advantage of their rights under the law.
This program will be rich with practical guidance and tools you can put to use right now. We’ll help you make sense of the vast amount of information and resources being made available to employers and point you to the ones that matter most right now. You’ll leave with a working checklist and a copy of the slides for those who register.
