Description
This presentation includes information on dementia, concentrating on communications and some of the "Dos and Don'ts" in dealing with people with dementia. Tami Kolbinger, presenter of this event, is a certified dementia practitioner and a certified Alzheimer's Disease and dementia care trainer with 10 years’ experience in socialization for memory care, assisted living, and long-term care communities. She is a trained facilitator for the Alzheimer's Association Caregiving support group, a lead volunteer for Act on Alzheimer's in Becker, MN, and a regional member of Act on Alzheimer's of Central MN.
Caregivers, families, and general public are encouraged to attend. For adults. Limited to 40 attendees. Pre-registration requested.
